We currently live in Westfield, IN and have a cozy life with our sweet cat, Flynn, and a marriage centered around the Lord.
After our wedding in October of 2021, I fell in love with the idea of wedding photography. Hudson and my parents surprised me with my first camera the following Christmas and it has been a blessing to see how God has taken this from a hobby to a full time business! 3 years later and Hudson has officially joined the team as an assistant shooter and my "accountant" helping me stay organized with finances and all the behind-the-scenes work!

With so many otions, how do I choose my photographer?
With an abundance of photographers in the world, it may be hard to know how to narrow it down to the right one. There are so many beautiful styles and personalities that it can be overwhelming. Here are a few tips to help you find the best fit for you!
1. Start with the visual.
This may seem obvious but its the easiest way to quickly narrow down your options. Head over to Instagram and type in "*your city* Photographer" then click on the first ones you see. Look at pictures individually, rather than the whole feed overall. The aesthetic may look nice but do you like the way the photos are actually edited? Follow the ones you like, pass on the ones you don't!
2.Compare with budget
As much as we wish it weren't an issue, budgets play a huge part in hiring your wedding vendors. Your photography budget may vary depending on your wedding budget. Take a look back at those photographers you liked and followed on Instagram. Take a peak at their website and narrow them down by who's in your price range. Make sure you look at all of their package options. Maybe their 10 hour package is outside of your budget but their 6 hour package is perfect!
3. Set up a time to chat
Now that you've *hopefully* narrowed it down to a few photographers your'e interested in, one of the final steps before your choice is made is a phone call. Not only is it important to like your photographers style, it's SO IMPORTANT to like them as a human!! Your photographer will be your shadow for almost your whole day, please make sure you actually get along with them!! Ask about their home life, their hobbies, try and see if theres a connection there! Typically, a call is all you need for your decision to be clear, one way or another!
